From central America, this hybrid is easy to grow. Watering should be regular throughout the year. The flower resemble the shape of an octopus with their thin green sepals and petals, which drop down below the rounded, dark purple, almost black lip. The inflorescence produced in succession many flowers, up to fourteen at a time. The plant may bloom throughout the year.
