Endemic to Ecuador, this showy species produces at its tip a cluster of 3 to 7 flowers. The small sepals and petals are olive green or light brown , the lip is large, creamy white and fringed. Extremely rare in nature, the species has been considered as endangered .The plant like some shade, warm conditions and high humidity.
