Dendrobium parishii

From tropical southeast Asia. This is a small orchid that produces large flowers for the plant size. The flowers are hot pink with dark purple in the throat. Prefers intermediate to cool with dry winter rest. It is deciduous so the leaves will fall off in the fall. The flowers are produced from the leafless canes in the late spring. Sweetly fragrant.
