Found in The Philippines in the Sulu Archipelago. The plant bloom on a erect, long inflorescence with each branch carrying from 2 to 7 flat, glossy flowers and is very similar to p. mariae but differs in the erect inflorescence and very flat floral features of the flower of p. bastianii. Very fragrant. Flower in the summer.
