
Phalaenopsis corningiana is native to Kalamantan, Indonesia. This is an extremely rare plant, which is now considered extinct in the wild due to habitat loss. Flowering season for this plant is always midsummer. This plant produces 5 to 8 cm star shaped flowers which are with a greenish yellow background overlaid and suffused with red blotches. The plant has a spicy fragrance.
